Suella Braverman was tricked into accepting the 'D**k of the Year' award in a humiliating prank.

Watch below:

The Tory MP - who was removed from her post by Rishi Sunak in November's cabinet reshuffle - fell victim to a brutal prank on Channel 4 comedy programme The Last Leg.

It's anchored by comedian Adam Hills and co-hosted by Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker.

The late-night sketch show, which consists largely of sport/political satire, began presenting mock prize 'D**k of the Year' in 2013.

Nominees for the 'award' are suggested by people on X (Twitter), as well as the hosts.

And the 'winner' is then determined by viewers who use the hashtag #d**koftheyear.

Previous winners include Katie Hopkins, Vladimir Putin, Jeremy Hunt, Donald Trump, Boris Johnson, Matt Hancock and Jacob Rees-Mogg.

Now, in a recent episode, Braverman thought she was attending a naming ceremony for a vessel on the River Wallington in Fareham.

But the politician - who took the position on stopping small boat migrants crossing the Channel - was in for shock.

YouTube jokers, Josh and Archie, were there to pose as employees of the fictitious company.

"John from Farehouse Fishing, it's a real honour, real honour to be here to join your fantastic team to pay tribute to all of you for your confidence in Fareham," she said.

After wishing them good luck, the brutal plaque was unveiled, naming her as 2023's 'D**k of the year'.

To be fair to her, she took it pretty well, adding: "I'm not sure what that is all about.

"It's been a big spoof.

"That's going to go viral now."

Commenting on the clip, one viewer said: "It’s up to us to make sure this does go viral now."

Another added: "OMG. This prank was really funny. Almost felt sorry for her!!!"

"Unfortunately, in a country which has never been allowed to have a mature public debate about immigration, we have both Suella Braverman and the Last Leg," someone else said.

While some thought it was 'brilliant', others called it 'lame'.

In a statement the YouTubers said: "We knew Suella liked boats, and photocalls, so we hope she will forgive us for setting up this ruse which was really all about celebrating her and her award."
