Sarah Jayne Dunn has revealed that her husband Jonathan Smith takes the photos for her to post on OnlyFans.
The former Hollyoaks star, 40, walked away from the Channel 4 series in order to gain control of her finances and career during the pandemic, and is now making money from her racy content.
The married couple of four years both recently appeared on ITV's Loose Women, where Christine Lampard asked Smith if he supports the OnlyFans star for appearing on the platform.
The television presenter also noted on the show that Smith is often the one behind the camera, to which he replied: “Yeah, exactly. Not a lot has changed for me.
“I don’t see any problem with supporting her, particularly as it gives her more control.”
He then turned to his wife, adding that: “You feel safer posting those [photos] on OnlyFans than you do Instagram!”
Meanwhile, Dunn told the panellists on the show that she certainly sees the differences in working on the over-18s platform compared to her previous TV role: “It's different because I'm in control…I’m getting to choose who I'm working with, what I'm wearing, I get to choose if my pictures get photoshopped.”
She also noted how in her previously magazine lingerie photoshoots, the end result would end up looking worlds away from her true self due to the heavy editing.
“With photoshoots I’ve done over the years, some of them from like the noughties, I'll go that isnt my body and it never was my body and I've never been flawless, like nobody is!
“It's so empowering for me to go, ‘actually I'm doing this for me’ and also there's a financial benefit to it now because i'm in control of that.”
The actress was fired from her role on the soap after she signed up to the platform in October, but it later came to light that producers didn’t have plans to kill off her character Mandy, who she portrayed for 25 years.
Sarah then notified bosses of the show that she never wants to return - even if they asked her to.
A source told The Sun: “Sarah walked away from Hollyoaks when they handed her the ultimatum over OnlyFans and she has no desire to return."
“The door was left open for her should she ever want to come back as her character Mandy is a huge player in the soap.”
