‘Sex demon' ghost forces owner of one of Britain’s most haunted buildings to move out

Living in one of Britain's most haunted buildings is going to bring some challenges, but this owner has been forced out as a result of it.

Caroline Humphries is the owner of Ancient Ram Inn in Gloucestershire but is selling up shop due to a suspected sex demon.

The owner says that multiple guests have claimed that they were assaulted by the demon while in the building.

She even recalls a moment with her late father, John, who had various encounters with ghosts.

Humphries has had major success in recent years after the former pub appeared on Britain's Most Haunted in 2005, but she has now decided enough is enough.

She said: "The sex demon has driven me out of my home – there’s nothing will get me back there now.

"My dad constantly complained about the sex demon that touched his legs and pressed upon his body when he didn’t want it to happen.

"It always happened when he was lying down trying to get some rest.

"Once, the bed started to vibrate. He passed out and when he came to, his arms were above his head.

There was pressure all over his body and something was feeling his groin.

"He could not move or speak and when it released him, he couldn’t stop shaking. He left the room and went downstairs utterly exhausted and unable to sleep for many nights."

For a while, her father seemed to be the only one to have had these experiences, but soon customers started to complain as well.

She continued: "Now we’ve started to have other guests tell me they’ve had the same thing happen to them.

"I have not experienced it myself, but I don’t want to be next."

Since living in the haunted establishment since 2001, Humphries has seen a lot of paranormal events.

She has witnessed her cabinet tumbling down the stairs without any pushing it and pictures falling off the wall with no one near them.

She concluded: "I have no doubt that the Ancient Ram Inn is haunted, and I don’t feel guilty about saying it is or for selling tickets for a paranormal events.

"I have seen it, I have felt it and I know it exists."

Not just Most Haunted, but the Ancient Ram Inn has also featured in other TV shows such as Ghost Adventures and Great British Ghosts.

However, The Ghost Club investigated the Inn in 2003 and didn't register anything paranormal.
