It's not every day you come across a shark egg, and TikTokers have been left fascinated after this bloke saved one from drying out on the beach.
Thankfully, the fisherman who found the creature isn't hoping for a pet shark and explained what he plans to do with the egg.
Have a look at the unusual discovery:
"Found this little fella in his egg on the beach," he said. "Brought it home to put in in a tank with the hopes of it hatching and to release it again. He would’ve dried out and died on the beach!"

In a follow up video, TikToker @zoo_look_fishing explained that he brought the shark egg home where he hopes it will eventually hatch.
The unusual looking egg is encased in a capsule - sometimes called a 'mermaid's purse'.
He explained that while some sharks give birth, other species lay eggs, which attach to rocks in the sea.
"Sometimes with a lot of surge in the waves in the water they do break loose and wash out onto the beach," he explained.

"This is the first time I've found one with an actual live shark in it. Usually they are empty."
The TikToker explained he's been keeping the shark egg in water until it can be moved to a tank, where he explained they will 'create an ecosystem for it'.
He added: "Our little friend is still alive and well! Really hope this little sharks survives and we can see it hatch to safely return it to the ocean.
"A lot of people asked me why I didn't just put it back into the ocean - if I put it back it would have just washed up and died in any case.

"It's only been a few days but he's growing really strong and really good, so hopefully it will survive and I can show the process to you guys."
People were stunned at the videos, with many explaining they had no idea what shark eggs looked like, while others were desperate to see the baby shark's journey.
One person wrote: "Nature is so fascinating, I never knew sharks could lay eggs until I seen your videos."

And a third added: "Waaaaiiit whaaaaaat?? I thought sharks had live babies…???? MY WHOLE LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE."
