Tyrson Fury was crowned World Boxing Council world champion after dominating former champ Deontay Wilder for seven rounds in Las Vegas last night, with Wilder's corner eventually throwing in the towel after a sustained battering from The Gypsy King.
As soon as the fight was over, talk of a unification fight with Anthony Joshua - who holds the other three versions of the world title - fired up on social media, with fans calling on Fury to fight Joshua in a box office Battle of Britain after bagging the WBC belt.
One person tweeted yesterday: "Anthony Joshua Vs Tyson Fury at Wembley Stadium summer of 2020. Let's stop messing about here and get it done."
Another said: "@Tyson_Furydon't sell the British boxing fans down the river now Tyson!! You and @anthonyfjoshuahas to happen at Wembley stadium. Don't come with all that Vegas talk let's put a show on for boxing in the UK."

Fury himself is up for it, but only if Wilder doesn't want to invoke his rematch clause for their trilogy fight.
Fury responded to a question about the potential bout in a post-fight interview with Behind The Gloves, saying: "If Deontay don't want the rematch, then let's go AJ."

Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn has even guaranteed the fight will happen this year.
Hearn, who promotes Joshua, took to Twitter to appeal to the Gypsy King to forgo the third instalment with the Bronze Bomber and instead take on his fellow British heavyweight, writing: "No need for a third let's go straight to it in the Summer! #undisputed."
The promoter also told TalkSport: "I have said and I will make this clear, we have to make this fight happen. We will never get the chance for two Brits to fight for an undisputed heavyweight world championship.

"I will promise you we will do everything we can to make this fight happen.
"The first thing is that Wilder has the rematch clause. I don't think anyone wants to see a third fight, it was that conclusive, but we will see if he wants to exercise that. I probably expect Wilder (to take the rematch). I don't see where else he has to go.
"Our mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev is also promoted by Bob Arum, Tyson Fury's promoter, so there is a very easy manoeuvre there if Wilder doesn't want the rematch to go straight into this undisputed fight in the summer. That's what we have to push for initially."
