Robbie Williams Branded A 'Disgrace' For Flipping The Finger At The World Cup 2018 Opening Ceremony

Flipping someone the bird, giving them the finger, telling them to fuck off basically. However you dress it up, it's never intended as a gesture of affection.
Unless Robbie Williams has a very different understand of it? Nah doubtful. And yet there he was belting out Rock DJ giving it the biggun. Cheeky sod.
Robbie Williams flipped off the cam! Is that part of the act usually? #WorldCup2018 good stuff pic.twitter.com/YOxdas8yV7

We wonder whether this was part of some pre-planned arrangement? Was it given the A-Ok? Surely not.
No country wants their opening ceremony, that will have taken years of blood, sweat and tears to organise, to be overshadowed by Robbie Williams and his middle finger now do they? Just style it out, Russia, style it out.

And Robbie, you know the guy who publicly challenged Liam Gallagher to a fight at the Brits one time (classy), said he was excited for his big performance a few days ago. Now we know why.
Very excited to be returning to Russia to perform at the opening of the @FIFAWorldCup - tune in early on Thursday for an unforgettable show! #WorldCup pic.twitter.com/skwCwt21SM

And luckily, for Robs, people have found the whole thing pretty damn hilarious. One took to Twitter saying: "You can tell you are getting old when you don't think that Robbie Williams giving the world the finger is funny... #imfinished"
Another added: "England's best performance in a #WorldCup".
A third commented: "Wow wow wow home from school pick up to watch @robbiewilliams smoking hot in a red suit, opening the #Worldcup2018Russia 3 of my fave songs ever". Did they see what we did?

But some definitely didn't agree with his subtle (not subtle at all) gesture. One person ranted: "Or how you make yourself look even more of a massive tool than you already are! Nice an appropriate gesture for all the kids watching around the world."
Another, who clearly knows the singer, said: "Didn't see Robbie Williams' opening performance BUT I'm not shocked he thought it was a good idea to throw up a middle finger to a feed 6 million people might be watching. That's just sooooooooooooo Robbie." It sooooooooooooo is, isn't it?
You never know, here we are getting all irate but he might have just got a bit too caught up in all the excitement. Whatever happened he might need some Angels to get him out of this one - see what we did there?
