Tyson Fury completed the last leg of his return journey from Las Vegas with a gruelling 244-mile taxi ride from Heathrow Airport to Morecambe.

After his win against Deontay Wilder at the weekend, Fury partied into the early hours of the morning at Hakkasan nightclub inside the MGM Grand casino.

His wife Paris shared photos from the event, in which the boxer could be seen getting stuck into a £800,000 bottle of vodka before he led the crowd in singing Sweet Caroline.

Following the night of boozy celebrations, which ended up at a pool party in Wet Republic, Fury set off on a 24-hour journey home - flying from Las Vegas to Atlanta and from there to Heathrow.

But it seemed he'd had enough of planes once landing back on British soil, with the Mirror reporting he opted for a cab to take him, Paris and brother Shane home.

According to the Mirror, the four-hour ride cost £261 - had he opted for a flight it would have most likely taken him a couple of hours.

And The Gypsy King wasn't the only member of the Fury family to splash out on an expensive cab ride.

His brother Tommy had to take an Uber from Las Vegas to Los Angeles after discovering all flights and hire cars were fully booked.

The 22-year-old had been over in the States to watch the fight but found himself stranded due to poor planning on his behalf.

Posting on Instagram, the former Love Island star shared a Boomerang clip of himself inside the Uber, writing: "Little update - had to get an Uber from Las Vegas to LAX because all the flights were full and all the car rentals were hired so silly me. Always plan in advance, guys.

"Then flying from Los Angeles to London. Can't wait to see my girl @MollyMae miss you so much."

According to the Mirror, an estimate for the journey's cost came to $309.40 (£227), although it may have cost even more depending on which car Fury chose to travel in, or if there was a surge due to the higher demand at the time that he travelled.

Ouch.
