Eye-watering net worths of England squad WAGs as team head to semi-finals

England have made it to the semi finals of the World Cup for just the fourth time in their history after a 2-1 win against Norway booked them a clash with defending champions Argentina.

It's likely to be a heated affair for all sorts of reasons, the competition itself is enough to motivate these players who know they're just one game away from the final but there's also a major rivalry between England and Argentina.

While England have made it to the semi finals just four times in all their years of World Cups, two of those have come in the past three World Cups.

Just think, a decade ago the Three Lions were getting knocked out of the Euros by Iceland, things have changed a lot since then, and if you roll back the clock another 10 years to 2006 that World Cup was overshadowed by the WAGs.

WAGs, or wives and girlfriends, got accused of turning England's 2006 World Cup camp into a 'circus', so much so that four years later they were banned from staying at the team hotel and only allowed short visits.

Not that it helped England's prospects at that World Cup.

Things have rather calmed down since the madness 20 years ago, but some still have a fascination for the partners England's players lean on most for support.

According to The Sun, some of the partners of England players have a decent net worth themselves, though it's worth remembering this doesn't meant the amount of money they have in the bank.

They include nurses, fitness instructors, models and influencers, and The Sun reckons they know what the net worth of these women is, they say:
