Viral video shows athlete Katie Rick running over logs with incredible speed

You might look at a sport like log running and tell yourself 'I could do that', but if we're being really honest, you'd probably end up plunging into the water.

Alternatively, you could do like athlete Katie Rick does and charge back and forth across those unsteady logs to show them who's boss.

While Katie makes it look easy, she has been doing this for over 15 years now, and is ranked among the finest log runners in the world.

As you can see from her attempt at tackling these logs, she was practically able to run back and forth across them like they were the sturdiest bridge; slips that would have sent others plunging into the water did little to impede her.

This impressive footage was posted on Facebook by Lessons Learned In Life, where it went viral and since 2023 has become one of their biggest videos as it picked up over 141 million views, so if even a few of those decided to give log running a go the sport might find its next big star.

Lessons Learned In Life is one of the top 20 Facebook pages viewed in the world, so it's little surprise that Katie's incredible log running abilities were seen far beyond the reach of the page's more than 22 million followers.

Maybe next time it'll be you everybody marvels at.
