Golf legend Rory McIlroy has filed for divorce from his wife Erica Stoll, which would appear to bring an end to their 10 year relationship.

TMZ reports that McIlroy made the filing in Florida on Monday (13 May) around seven years after the couple got married.

McIlroy and Stoll got together in 2014 after the golfer had split with tennis player Caroline Wozniacki, and the couple had a daughter together in 2020.

They had initially met in 2012.
