Benidorm legend 'Sticky Vicky' has shared a health update with her fans after being hospitalised following a serious fall.

The retired X-rated dancer took to Instagram on Saturday (9 July) to let her followers know she is ‘doing well’ but her injuries will take a ‘few months’ to heal.

Earlier this month, Sticky Vicky - real name Victoria Aragues Gadea - spent five days in hospital after falling while getting into a car and smashing her knees on the ground.

Vicky was later re-admitted as she was in serious pain and doctors thought her leg might be infected.

On 3 July, Vicky shared a painful looking photo of her stapled knee and revealed the lower half of her leg had turned bright purple.

But the iconic dancer has now confirmed she’s on the mend, explaining she was taking pills when she should have been receiving injections.

Posing alongside her daughter, who was dressed in martial arts clothing, Vicky wrote on Instagram: “Good News, First of all, I would like to thank everyone for their support and blessings, especially in the Facebook groups, it makes me happy to know that they still love me and remember me.”

She continued: “This morning we were in the hospital for my cures, everything is going very well, the leg looks better, the problem was that I take anticoagulant pills and they had to replace them with injections, a little late but they are working, so now it will take a few months to heal the wound.

“I keep myself entertained with my daughter, I go with her to her sports activities, and I will try to enjoy the summer as much as I can, the doctors told me not to sit still, it is good to have activity for the mobility of the knee.”

Vicky concluded: “Thank God no bone was damaged. so we will report on the evolution that today is very positive.”

Vicky’s fans were delighted to hear she was getting better, with many sending well wishes like: “Sending love to Vicky and hope she recovers soon” and “Get well soon.”

On Friday (9 July), Vicky’s daughter María Gadea Aragues confirmed in a statement to LADbible that her mum had left hospital and that her wounds would likely take months to heal.

Vicky, who hung up her dancing shoes in 2016, is known for her performances in the Spanish seaside town and her daughter María has followed in her footsteps, performing her own 'sexy magic shows'.
