A student who hates water and 'only drinks Pepsi Max' was utterly shocked when more than 500 cans of her favourite drink landed on her doorstep. Watch the viral vid below:

Ellie Thomas was completely baffled by waking up to a call from her housemate saying that there's a whole pallet of fizzy drinks waiting for her outside.

The 19-year-old - still dressed in her PJs - was then forced to lug all 22 crates up to her room.

The Pepsi fan completely forgot entering a completion two weeks prior. She says her prize was then delivered without any notice from PepsiCO that she'd won.

Ellie, from Blackwood, South Wales Valleys, said: "One morning my housemate woke me up and said ‘Ellie there’s a man at the door with 400 Pepsi Max cans for you!’.

"I'd actually forgotten about the competition. It was weird because I had no email to tell me that I'd won. A man just showed up at my university address with the cans.

"I had to meet him in my pjs and take them off him. Unfortunately he left the cans at the bottom of the steps to our house, so me and two housemates had to carry them upstairs ourselves. It took forever.

"It’s my all-time favourite drink and I always have at least one can a day. I don’t really like water or other drinks so all I drink is Pepsi Max. It's not the most healthy choice, I know.

"Winning the competition was probably the highlight of my year, given that I was spending a lot of money on Pepsi Max anyway and was already a big fan of the drink. I'm very grateful.

"I did wonder what I was going to do with them and where I was going to keep them. I currently have a tower of them in my university room.

"I still love Pepsi Max all the same. I think winning the competition was fate considering I drank so much of the stuff anyway."

The sociology and education student has also been using Pepsi Max to mix with booze before heading out to the club with her pals - with she and her housemates often getting through two crates when they host pre-drinks.

She added: "Unexpectedly, we’ve actually gone through quite a lot of the crates.

"Luckily me and my five other housemates quite often host pre-drinks for our friends before we go out drinking and clubbing, and the Pepsi Max has become very useful for mixers with our drinks."

Ellie's TikTok captioned 'my uni room is full of Pepsi Max, help' has been liked almost 350,000 times.

One user joked: "It's hard seeing someone live your dream."

A second added: "This is honestly my dream."

Another wrote: "Imagine the money you would make if you were still in secondary school."
