A number of supermarkets and high street food chains have recalled dozens of chicken products due to salmonella fears.
Amazon, Tesco, Aldi, Sainsbury's, and Pret A Manger are among some of the big chains that have issued a warning to their customers this week.
Salmonella can cause fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps, however, it is unclear whether anyone has been affected by it as of yet, reports The Mirror.

In a notice online, Aldi said: "The products listed above are being recalled due to the possible presence of Salmonella. Customers are asked to return this product to their nearest store, where a full refund will be given.
"We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your co-operation."

A Pret A Manger spokesman has also said: "As a precautionary measure, we've temporarily removed the majority of chicken items on our menu due to a potential food safety risk at one of our suppliers.
"We hope to have these back in shops soon. We apologise for any inconvenience."
