Tom Holland has taken to Instagram to explain why he's been absent from social media recently.
During your daily scroll, you might've noticed something missing - the delightful, talented Spider-Man actor is nowhere to be seen.
That's because, as Tom candidly explained, he's been on a much-needed hiatus for his mental health.
Our favourite Spider-Man shared the post early this morning, Sunday 14 August, with the caption: "Hello and goodbye... I have been taking a break from social media for my mental health."

He then went on to explain: "So, I have taken a break from social media for my mental health, because I find Instagram and Twitter to be over stimulating, to be overwhelming, I get caught up and I spiral when I read things about me online and ultimately it's very detrimental to my mental state so I decided to take a step back and delete the app."
However, now Tom is back, temporarily, he added, to tell his followers about Stem 4, an incredible charity that he and his brothers sponsor at The Brothers Trust initiative.
"Stem 4 is a wonderfully innovative education programme, it has - its pioneering apps, its clinically advised website [and] its mental health conferences help to contribute towards [...] helping young kids who are suffering."
Tom went on to explain that he and his brothers were supporting the charity because 'there is an awful stigma against mental health and I know that asking for help and seeking help isn't something that we should be ashamed of, but it is something that is much easier said than done. So, hopefully, these apps can be your first step towards being happier and healthier'.

He went on to urge those who could support the incredible charity to do so, before saying: "Thank you for listening, I'm going to disappear from Instagram again. And to everyone out there, thanks for your love and support, I love you all and I'll speak to you soon."
People quickly poured in with support for the star, with one user writing: "I love you and I totally understand about how social media affects mental health."
While another added: "Please take all the time you need. The thing that matters the most is your well being. We love you<3."
And we couldn't applaud Tom's honesty more.
