Diddy blew up Kid Cudi's Porsche and broke into his home after discovering his relationship with Cassie Ventura, a court has heard.
The disgraced rapper, real name Sean Combs, is currently on trial for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution, all of which he denies.
He has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges, for which he could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted.

Today (22 May), Scott Mescudi - better known by his stage name, Kid Cudi - has taken to the stand to testify about how became embroiled in Diddy's relationship with Cassie.
The 41-year-old musician, from Ohio, briefly dated the 'Me & U' singer in 2011, while she was also still involved with Diddy.
Mescudi told the court that he struck up a friendship with Cassie after they met in 2008, before they began dating for a short period three years later - while he was under the illusion that 'she and Sean Combs had some problems and they weren’t dating anymore'.

Mescudi said he received a call from the Honey 3 actress, 38, in December 2011 at around 6am in the morning, informing him that Diddy had become aware they were an item.

While taking to the stand herself last week, Cassie claimed that Diddy had scoured through her emails during a 'freak off' and found that she had been communicating with Mescudi.
She alleged that in wake of this, the Bad Boy mogul had threatened to release footage of her sexual encounters with escorts and warned that 'he was going to hurt' her and Mescudi.
Cassie also testified that Diddy told her Mescudi's car would be blown up - which did, in fact, happen, however, Combs didn't face any criminal charges in relation to the explosion.
Discussing his version of events, Mescudi explained that Cassie had asked to be 'picked up' when she called him, as per CNN, telling the court: "She sounded really stressed on the phone, nervous, scared, so I went to go pick her up."
The pair then went to a nearby hotel, before contacting one of Diddy's employees, Capricorn Clark, who Mescudi said was 'very scared' and 'sounded like she was on the verge of tears'.

Clark then told them that Diddy was inside Mescudi's home with an associate, according to the rapper's testimony, and that she had been 'forced to go along with them' and wait outside in a car.
Kid Cudi then rang Diddy to find out whether this was in fact the case, who told the 'Pursuit of Happiness' rapper that he 'just wanted to talk' and was 'over here waiting for you', the court heard.

Kid Cudi explained that his property appeared to look normal when he got back, but later realised his security cameras had been moved - which he says he did not do.
Mescudi recalled how a number of gifts he had purchased for his loved ones were opened and littered across the kitchen counter, while his dog had been locked in a bathroom - something which he also says he did not do.

The rapper insisted he would let his pet, who he'd had for three years at the time, 'roam' around his property when he wasn't in - while saying the dog was 'jittery' and 'on edge all of the time' ever since this incident.
Mescudi told how he contacted Diddy to 'confront him', admitting he even 'wanted to fight him', but ultimately decided to call the police as he 'didn't know what [Diddy's] intentions' were.
Following what appeared to have been a break-in at his residence, the rapper filed a police report about the incident the following day.
Mescudi then went to Connecticut with Cassie to spend the Christmas period with her family, telling the court that Diddy tried to contact him via text message several times while he was there.
"I guess he was in the dark about things and wanted to talk, but at that point, post-break-in, I didn’t want to talk," Kid Cudi said today. "You broke into my house, you messed with my dog, I don’t want to talk to you."

In January 2012, a month later, Mescudi claimed he then received a call from the person who was looking after his dog to alert him to the fact that his car was on fire.

The musician, who was about 45 minutes away from his home, was then sent photos of the damaged Porsche in his driveway before he arrived back.
After looking at images of the burnt out motor in court, he said it depicted 'the damage of the Molotov cocktail in my Porsche', adding: "It looks like the top of my Porsche was cut open, and that’s where the Molotov cocktail was put in."
When asked what his reaction was to this incident, Kid Cudi said: "What the f**k."
A few days later, he got in touch with Diddy and 'finally told him that we needed to meet up, to talk', as he thought things were 'getting out of hand' following the car fire.
Discussing the meeting, Mescudi said: "Sean Combs was standing there, staring out the window with his hands behind his back, like a Marvel supervillain.
"We discussed pretty much the whole story about how me and Cassie first started to date to what it was to how it ended."
He claimed that Diddy said he 'didn't know what he was talking about' when he quizzed him about the car fire, and that the music mogul gave him 'his word' that he didn't have any involvement in it.
He also testified that following all of this, he and Cassie 'just stopped talking' despite being in contact on a daily basis for around 12 months, while adding: "I was upset to find that she had kind of went back to him."
In 2015, Mescudi bumped into Diddy at an exclusive members club and said that Diddy told him: "Man I just want to apologize for everything and all that bullsh*t."
"That was the last thing I was expecting to get from him," Mescudi said, adding that he 'found peace' with the situation following this encounter.
The trial continues.
