What Is Tony Blair's Net Worth In 2022?

Tony Blair served as UK Prime Minister from 1997 to 2007, but what is his net worth?

Tony Blair was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for ten years between 1997 and 2007, winning three general elections in that time.

After leaving office he was appointed as Special Envoy of the Quartet of the Middle East and in 2016 he established the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.

In 2022 Blair was appointed as a Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter by the Queen.

Many thousands signed a change.org petition to protest his knighthood, however, largely due to the invasion of Iraq.

What is Tony Blair’s Net Worth in 2022?

Blair’s Net Worth as of 2022 is $60 million or almost £50.3 million.

The vast majority of the former Prime Minister’s wealth has come through the acquisition of property.

Blair owns two dozen flats in Manchester valued at £27 million, as well as an £8 million house in London.

Blair has also collected a large amount of income through other investments and regular paid speaking engagements.

He reportedly charges £200,000 for a single speaking event.

Today Blair uses a lot of his fortune to fund his various charities and institutions, most notably the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.

The main aim of the Institute is to help guide policy around the globe to make the world a more prosperous and democratic place.

It particularly focuses on the Covid-19 recovery, net-zero, and the war in Ukraine

The former Prime Minister also continues to hold influence in the political world outside of his charity work.

During the 2014 Scottish referendum, Blair was a vocal and influential proponent of the successful “no” campaign i.e. pro-union. However, during the 2016 Brexit campaign he unsuccessfully campaigned for “remain”, and has continued to make clear he feels Britain leaving the EU was a mistake.
