Twins who are planning to sue Playboy claim Hugh Hefner plied them with drugs to get them into bed.

Karissa and Kristina Shannon have joined a growing number of former Playmates who have spoken out about their time at the mansion.

The sisters say they slept with Hefner, who died in 2017, on their 19th birthday and say they were given booze and Quaaludes.

Speaking to the Mirror, Kristina said “On our 19th birthday he took us to a club. He bought us alcohol even though the US age limit is 21.

"When we got back, Kendra was like, ‘Do you girls want to smoke some weed in Hef’s room’? But when we got into his room, Kendra left. We got really nervous.

“Hef noticed and said ‘Why don’t you slip into something more comfortable?’ He pulled out silk pyjamas from Italy and we put them on. He pulled out this big pill like the type a horse would take.

"It was Quaalude, which we found out he used all the time.”

Karissa’s account is the same as her sisters, she told the Mirror when they were taken to the bedroom that first time they were given drugs that left them feeling ‘fuzzy and loose’.

She said: “It was creepy and gross. We felt filthy, disgusted, like our bodies weren’t ours.”

Quaaludes are a drug that produces hypnotic and sedative effects.

Hefner's former secretary Lisa Loving Barrett has previously claimed Quaaludes were widely used at the Playboy Manson and referred to as 'leg spreaders', describing them as 'a necessary evil to the partying'.

The women, who are now 32, branded the Playboy mansion as a ‘cult’ and claim Hefner 'had a black soul' and acted as though he ‘owned’ the women who lived there.

A number of Playboy models have spoken out about Hugh Hefner's controlling behaviour.

Kristina added: “We were Playmates, employed, and everything happened at the mansion, so we want to go after them. We are speaking out because we want people to know who he truly was and what was going on behind closed doors.”

Last month, a new docuseries about Hefner's Playboy empire called Secrets of Playboy aired in the US and lifted the lid on what happened at the mansion.

Former Playmate Holly Madison, 42, appeared in the show, where she claimed living with Hefner had been ‘gross’.

She said: "I felt like I was in the cycle of gross things and I didn't know what to do."
