People are attempting to flog the Aldi cat egg chairs for twice the store price, after the supermarket quickly sold out of the products.
As predicted, the cute egg chairs flew out within minutes and now some chancers are listing them on eBay with hefty mark-ups.
The chairs went on sale online today for £34.99 and a short while later several listings appeared on the online auction site, with some asking for as much as £70.
While many of the listings are yet to attract any bids, one £70 chair already has one bid, with 18 hours to go at the time of writing.
Following the popularity of its human-sized Hanging Egg Chair, Aldi has revealed a pet-friendly version of the chair as part of its new Eco Pet range.
Made from natural wicker, the chair is hand woven and supported by a strong metal frame to keep felines safe and sound.
The design boasts a removable inner cushion, so it's easy to remove and wash.
A description for the sell-out item reads: "Give your cat the paw-fect gift with the Grey Hanging Cat Egg Chair. Made from natural wicker this will be a stylish new bed for your cat.
"Featuring a removable inner cushion and base with non-slip for use on tiled or wooden floors."
Aldi said: "Following the popularity of its Hanging Egg Chair, Aldi has revealed a pet purrfect version of the chair.
"Pet lovers should be quick as once they're gone, they're gone."
The egg chairs go on sale in store on 30 May, so you may still be able to get your hands on one if you missed out this morning.
Alongside the chairs, Aldi also launched its wicker cat igloos, which is a transportable bed complete with a wire door and removable cushion for £24.99.
As well as bamboo pet bowls, recycled dog and cat toys and a range of eco-friendly recycled beds in various sizes.
Aldi added: "Our Bamboo Pet Bowls are ideal for a mess free feeding time. Designed with two bowls in one, it's made with 100 percent bamboo fibres, a strong and durable material that is safe for both pets and owners."
