We're used to hearing about horror stories from tenants about landlords refusing to fix the hot water or showing up unannounced for a viewing, but sometimes it's easy to forget that it works both ways. Yep, it turns out renters can be absolute monsters too - who knew!?
This is the revelation one landlord had when tenants vacated his property in Swansea, Wales, as they decided to leave the home resembling a giant rubbish bin.

In fact, it was so bad that he had to call in a home removal and clearance expert to sort though the mess.
Dan Baker, who runs waste management service Dan The Man With A Van, was the lucky bloke tasked with clearing the home, and captured the horror of what he found on camera.

He said the tenants vanished from the property while still owing rent, but the landlord faced another bombshell when he discovered the state the house had been left in.
Rubbish was strewn around the home, including bottles, takeaway packaging and empty food wrappers. There was so much of it, that in many rooms you could barely see the floor.
Doors also appeared to have been pulled from the hinges, while the bathroom looked like the last place you'd want to go for a wee.

As Baker sorted through the litter, he even found rats scurrying around.
After bravely tackling the mountains of waste, amazingly Baker was able to get the house back to normality for the landlord.
"The landlord asked me to tidy up the place, after the tenants did a runner," he said.
"He said he wasn't going to go in there himself."

He added: "There were even some little rats there but I've sorted them out too."
Amazingly, he admitted this wasn't even the worst place he's had to sort out.
"But I have come across worse properties to clean," Baker said.
"Students are the worst."
After Baker's hard work, the house has now been restored to its original condition. Here's hoping the next tenants give a bit more love to the gaff that their predecessors did...
