Politicians spend a lot of time humanising themselves to the general public but Andy Burnham will still be the first ever Prime Minister to appear on Celebrity Gogglebox.
In recent years, we've seen the likes of Nigel Farage and Matt Hancock appear on I'm a Celebrity, where they were forced into some pretty extreme trials, but Burnham clearly didn't fancy chowing down on some kangaroo testicles for his TV appearance.
Although he's well accustomed to things like Question Time and other TV interviews, we will get to see more of a personal side to our PM when he features alongside Liverpool mayor Steve Rotheram on tonight's episode of Gogglebox Stand up to Cancer.
Despite some folks taking issue with the new man in number 10 taking a few hours away from his busy day job to raise money for charity, many have been quick to defend the PM, who also recently featured on LADbible's Agree to Disagree alongside Gen Z'ers.

So far from the trailer, we can only hear the two politicians speaking about the best pub snacks, but no doubt we're also hear the proud northerners speak about beer and gravy, perhaps with a brief mention to the horrific geopolitical tensions and declining state of the world.

Should Burnham's rival parties have their way, we'd also see Nigel Farage and Kemi Badenoch appear on the show in order to have equal representation of the political parties, but then we'd probably also need to send Zach Polanski and maybe even Count Binface an invite as well.
Users on social media have been quick to defend the 56-year-old, who has brought about largely positive changes during his tenure at Number 10 so far, including a bus fare cap and shifting his priorities to helping the homeless and unemployed navigate a cost of living crisis.
One user said: "For those mocking the PM for going on Gogglebox: It's for Stand Up to Cancer.
"For those mocking his tattoo: It's the Manchester Bee, done after the Manchester Arena Attack, where 22 died and hundreds more were injured."
Another said: "People really forgot a grown man cant show basic decency without getting dragged for it."
However, others, as you might expect from social media, went a bit over the top with their replies with some even comparing him to Emperor Nero - who supposedly fiddled while Rome burned.
Despite it likely being a couple of hours out of his day and for cancer, many claimed that he should focus on his job and stop portraying himself as a man of the people, with the same people probably likely to complain if it emerged that he'd turned down a charity TV broadcast.
