Bank of England issued warning following potential confirmation of alien life

The UK must prepare for the worst if the US confirms alien life, says an expert

The Bank of England has been warned of an impending market crash if it is confirmed that alien life exists on our planet.

Back in November last year, an alien-focused documentary titled The Age of Disclosure was released on Prime Video, featuring a senior US government official.

It focused on the belief that the existence of alien life has been covered up by the US government for decades, which is a claim often dismissed.

However, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is one of the highest-ranking members of the current government, was interviewed in the doc.

Rubio, known to be a Donald Trump ally, claimed that UFOs have been seen flying above restricted nuclear facilities.

He could be heard saying: "We've had repeated instances of something operating in the airspace over restricted nuclear facilities — and it's not ours."

Rubio further claimed that Presidents have 'been operating on a need-to-know basis' when it comes to this knowledge.

The documentary suggests that the US have been covering this up for around 80 years, and while many may have let these claims slip their memory since, the subject is back in the spotlight.

A former Bank of England expert has claimed that the UK must plan for a potential financial crisis which could be triggered if the US confirm that aliens exist.

Helen McCaw, a former senior analyst in financial security at the Bank of England, wrote to Andrew Bailey, the Bank of England's governor, warning them to prepare for any future announcement of alien life from the White House.

The Times reports that McCaw, who worked for the nation's central bank for 10 years until 2012, urged politicians and bankers not to dismiss the possibility of us not being alone in this universe, suggesting banks could collapse.

"The United States government appears to be partway through a multi-year process to declassify and disclose information on the existence of a technologically advanced non-human intelligence responsible for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs)," she reportedly claimed.

"If the UAP proves to be of non-human origin, we may have to acknowledge the existence of a power or intelligence greater than any government and with potentially unknown intentions."

She further explained: "UAP disclosure is likely to induce ontological shock and provoke psychological responses with material consequences...

"There might be extreme price volatility in financial markets due to catastrophising or euphoria, and a collapse in confidence if market participants feel uncertain on how to price assets using any of the familiar methods."

McCaw highlighted that there may be a rush towards gold or other precious metals, as well as government bonds, as these would be considered 'safe'.

She then suggested that precious metals may alternatively lose their status as safe, if people speculate that space-faring technology will cause a spike in the supply of these materials.
