Chris Brown has pleaded guilty at Southwark Crown Court today (24 July) to affray.
This relates to the allegation he had attacked a former friend at the Tape private members' club in Mayfair, London, back in 2023.
The singer had been due to face a jury trial on 26 October after pleading not guilty in June last year. He had faced a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against Abraham Diaw and also denied having an offensive weapon as well as a charge of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.
These charges have now been discounted and Brown will be sentenced on 26 October for the affray charge.
