With job uncertainty and the cost of living crisis on the rise, it's easy to understand why people are turning to alternative forms of income aka 'Side Hustles'.

For Darcie - who goes by Rattle Kings on social media - a move to Only Fans allowed her to clear her debts in just days and enjoy financial freedom after a move back to the UK from Australia.

Appearing on an episode of the Trade Legends podcast, Darcie explained her reasons for creating an Only Fans account alongside her work as a bricklayer.

Despite having a steady stream of brand deals coming in, Darcie was keen to secure a more regular form of income for herself and after 'two years' of considering it, she made the plunge and joined Only Fans.

The decision to bare all on the platform has clearly paid off for Darcie, who revealed she was then able to pay off her credit card debts in just two days.

“I started the OF and I paid off everyone I owed, the credit cards and everything in two days,” she said. “And that was that."

“Done. Stamped, sealed. Debt-free,” replied co-host MJ Tiff.

Darcie revealed her credit card debts were around 6k at the time, adding that she also had no furniture or car after returning from Down Under.

Explaining how Only Fans gave her the financial freedom she couldn’t have gotten otherwise, she continued: “I was 27, living at home, just bought a car and that was the cheapest car I could buy, that was broken, no work coming in, credit cards piling up.

"When I started the Only Fans I wasn't thinking 'better not do it because i'm going to have a child one day', I was thinking 'how the f**k do I get to next week... How am I going to pay off my credit card'."

Darcie went on to stress that joining the adult content site wasn’t an impulsive decision as she’d been thinking of it for around 'two years' and had also seen other female 'tradies' move to Only Fans and make money.

Keen to make sure that it was a profitable move, the bricklayer made sure to do ample amounts of research beforehand - and it turned out she could make a staggering amount of money with just a tiny percentage of her followers subscribing to the platform.

“I did the calculations and it works out [that] if 1% of my followers bought my Only Fans subscription, I would make 15k a month.”

When it comes to the amount Darcie now makes, she revealed it was around 250k annually after a year on the platform.

"You can make good money from it but you have to remember [that] those pictures are going to be on the internet forever," she said.
