A mum from Northwich has been missing for three days as police urge the public to come forward if they have any information of her whereabouts.

Rachel Booth, 38, was reported as missing during the early hours of Saturday (19 July), Cheshire Police has said.

The mother-of-three was last seen by family members in Barnton before she was picked up by CCTV cameras at around 3.50am.

She was seen at Sandiway Garage, A556, as employee Issac Carolan, 19, told The Sun: "I spoke to my colleague who had served her on Saturday morning."

He added: "But it didn't seem weird, she didn't seem disturbed or flustered."

Dressed in workout gear - black leggings, a black top and trainers - she reportedly bought milk and wine following a 45-minute run.

"It is believed she may have travelled to the Oakmere area of Delamere, where officers, assisted by the Underwater Search Team, are currently following all possible lines of enquiry," Cheshire Police Superintendent Paul Hughes said.

He added they 'are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare' after she was last seen three days ago.

Rachel has been described as 5’ 9” tall, of a slim build, with blonde hair.

"As part of our investigation, our officers and partner agencies, including the Underwater Search Team and Cheshire Search and Rescue, are conducting enquiries in the Oakmere and surrounding areas where it is believed Rachel travelled to," Hughes said.

"And we would like to thank local businesses for their patience and understanding while these are currently ongoing."

Police urge public to come forward with any information

The officer added that 'investigators are following all lines of enquiry' and noted that 'anyone who has seen Rachel since she was reported missing is asked to contact us'.

"The same goes for anyone who has any information on her whereabouts," Hughes said.

"We would also like to appeal directly to Rachel to get in touch to let us know you are OK."

"You can report information to Cheshire Police via 101 or through www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us quoting IML-2136439."

Wild Shore Delamere watersports park temporarily closes while search continues

Wild Shore Delamere watersports park said in a statement it was closed on Sunday (20 July) 'due to ongoing police investigations in the surrounding area'.

"The incident is unrelated to Wild Shore - however, we wish to help as much as possible - so we will be closing the site until further notice," the statement adds.

"If your booking is affected by this closure, please contact our customer services team. We’ll be happy to arrange a refund or reschedule your session for a later date. Thank you for your understanding."

UPDATE: A body has been found in the search for Rachel Booth according to Cheshire Police.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said in a statement: "Whilst formal identification is yet to take place, it is believed to be that of Rachel. Her family have been made aware and are being supported by specialist officers.

"They have requested privacy at this time."
