A map depicting potential 'targets' in the UK that Vladimir Putin could take aim at was shared by a high-ranking Russian official.
Former deputy prime minister Dmitry Rogozin, who headed up the nation's defence industry for seven years, ominously warned that it could soon become 'deadly dangerous' to be on British soil.
Given the UK's continued support of Ukraine throughout Putin's invasion, in October, Rogozin coldly dropped a list of various sites that could end up on the receiving end of Russian missiles.
The sites - which are a mix of military and industrial hubs across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - were lifted straight from the UK government’s 'Defence Industrial Strategy 2025' paper.

It seems Putin would intend to hit us where it hurts, as most of them are home to suppliers of weapons and other military equipment.

Rogozin, a war veteran who is a senator of the Russian Federation, ominously shared the map in the wake of comments made by Britain's former defence secretary, Ben Wallace.
Wallace urged the West to 'make Crimea uninhabitable and unviable from a Russian point of view', as he said in October: "Ukraine does not need to invade the peninsula (which I concede would be incredibly difficult if not impossible), but they should choke it to death."
Following Wallace's comments, Rogozin responded by posting the map which highlights potential targets in the UK in the event of World War 3, alongside a scathing message.
He said: "Former British Defence Minister Ben Wallace on what Kyiv and its NATO allies should do to end the military actions: 'We must help Ukraine acquire long-range capabilities to make Crimea uninhabitable. We need to strangle Crimea'.
"What a sober minister has in mind, a former one has on his tongue. However, it is even good that they reveal their true intentions.

"It is useful to read this for those of us who still consider peace with imperialist aggressors possible.
"And my advice to our [Russian] oligarchs: do not send your children to study in England! It is deadly dangerous."
Vladimir Solovyov, a Kremlin TV host known for his furious tirades and unwavering support of Putin, then piled on too.
"Dmitry Rogozin today posted a reminder of targets in Britain that could be destroyed first," he added. "The idiots will get what’s coming to them."
Solovyov then went on to threaten to unleash Russia’s Poseidon nuclear drone, saying Britain could simply 'not exist' overnight.
