A fundraiser has been started to support the son of Shanice Brookes, who died after being shot outside of a club.
In the early hours of bank holiday Monday (27 May), the 30-year-old was seriously injured after being shot while standing outside a club in Sheffield.
The mother-of-one later died from her injuries.
It was later confirmed that Shanice had been an 'innocent bystander', with authorities saying her death 'lays bare the devastation gun crime causes within families and communities'.

A GoFundMe has now been set up to raise funds to cover Shanice's funeral costs and support for her young son.
"Shanice had the biggest heart, the most infectious humour, and a beautiful soul that touched so many people," a message from organiser Tyler-Jay Reid reads.

"She leaves behind her beloved 10-year-old son, who now has to face life without his mum, something no child should ever have to go through. Any money remaining after funeral costs will be put aside for him and his future.
"Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much to our family during this heartbreaking time. Thank you for all the love, support and kindness."
Two people have since been arrested and charged in relation to her killing, with South Yorkshire Police confirming that Jemele Rhone, 30, has been charged with murder, possession of a firearm and possession of criminal property.
Meanwhile, Deiryen Dyce, aged 32, has been charged with assisting an offender, possession of ammunition, possession of drugs with intent to supply, possession of drugs and possession of criminal property.
Both remain in custody ahead of an appearance at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday.
A 30-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of murder, but has since been released and is no longer considered to be a suspect.

"Shanice was an entirely innocent bystander who should’ve been able to enjoy a night out in our city without the fear that she wouldn’t come home safely," Detective Chief Inspector Andy Knowles said of Shanice's death.
Paying tribute to Shanice, her family called her a 'deeply loved daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend and godmother' and a 'amazing mum to her son, who meant the world to her'.
"Shanice had the biggest heart and the kind of energy you could never forget," the statement continued, adding that Shanice had been attending a university course at the time of her death.
"She could light up every room she walked into with her infectious laugh, beautiful soul and magical aura. Shanice made people feel loved, safe and valued simply by being herself. She was truly one of a kind and she will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love her."
