A potential lineup for the upcoming Universal theme park has caused major controversy online as people share their thoughts.
A viral post created a potential mockup of the upcoming theme park, which included several big brands in the enormous movie-themed attraction.
The post, by the account DigitalDan7, explained that it had been pulled together from information about the project which is currently available, so it's not an official confirmation of the layout, more an educated guess based on an official piece of artwork which Universal has released.
In the post, the user explained that the map was 'based on grading maps, leaks & documents', sharing an 'updated look at the park layout'.

This included seven different areas, including themed areas such as the general Hollywood area, as well as Paddington, Jaws, Minions, Harry Potter, Back to the Future, Jurassic World, and Waterworld.
And since the park mock up was shared things have gotten slightly heated on social media.
One person took a more optimistic view, writing: "Why is everyone crashing out lol idc what IPs there are it's a literal Universal park in the UK that's all I care about."
But many others had a lot of opinions on the layout.

One wrote: "We could’ve got a Game Of Thrones section or a Dune section or a Rick and Morty section…"
They added: "What’s the point in this park if it’s just the same as the Orlando ones? A lot of Brits/Europeans/Americans etc have already experienced these sections".
Another pointed out a slight flaw in the weather in the UK, writing: "Not sure how Waterworld is going to work considering how cold and rainy it can be in the UK. I feel it would be more fitting if they did a bond show."
They weren't the only person to be frustrated by the lineup, with another person writing: "You're telling me they don't have The Simpsons? No DreamWorks? No Nintendo? no NOTHING?"
One person was frustrated by one choice in particular, writing: "the world does not need another Harry Potter theme park. get rid of the Wizarding World and give us a Dark Universe/horror park."

Another shared their frustration, writing: "Waterworld and harry potter; over having a lord of the rings, universal monsters, or a james bond area. make it make sense."
Meanwhile someone else questioned why there wasn't a James Bond themed section, given than this would make a lot of sense in the UK.
"If it's normal waterworld instead of James Bond I will forever think of it as a dropped ball," they wrote.
But others were much less critical, with one writing: "It's wild to me that people from the UK are complaining about getting Jurassic World (arguably one of Universal's best dark rides) and a Back to The Future themed Intamin."
Nick Hutson, a composer who writes music for theme parks, also tweeted about the lineup, explaining why these particular choices might have been made.
He wrote that people 'need to realise' why these choices were made, writing: "Potter is successful. Back to the future is big. Paddington is a British icon", adding: "Get over it."
