The John Lewis Christmas advert is here, so it's time to deck the halls and jingle your bells, I guess. Check it out here:
The retailer has become known for its elaborate, often tear-jerking, adverts marking the start of the festive period.
In past ads we've seen anthropomorphic toy penguins, the man on the moon and an over-excitable dragon.
This year's is titled Unexpected Guest and features an alien named Skye who crash lands in the middle of the woods right in the middle of the festivities.
Skye befriends a young teen called Nathan who shows her all the best traditions of the season - including decorating a tree and wearing novelty jumpers.
Unexpected Guest is sound-tracked by singer and songwriter Lola Young covering the 1984 hit Together - and if previous years are anything to go by it's sure to earn itself a place in the UK charts soon.
In the run up to the advert landing, John Lewis 'crash landed' a number of space ships to give clues to what the theme might be.
The ad first airs tonight at 8.15pm on ITV during The Pride of Britain Awards.
John Lewis customer director Claire Pointon said: "There is nothing more magical than discovering the joy of Christmas for the first time and enjoying your favourite festive moments with loved ones.
"After the last 18 months, we wanted our advert to really celebrate this as we look forward to a brighter future.
"We know our customers are excited for this festive season more than ever, as they reconnect with family and friends. Through the story of Skye and Nathan we celebrate friendship and are reminded of the joy of experiencing Christmas for the first time."
As ever, items seen in the advert are on sale at John Lewis - this time around you'll be able to snap up the snazzy jumper Nathan gives to Skye - minus the flashing lights. The jumper costs between £14 and £29 depending on what size you're after and 10 percent of the profits go to Home-Start UK.
