London is getting a super swanky sky pool a whopping 115 feet (35m) above the busy streets.

The world-first will be three metres deep, 25m long and completely see-through - to give swimmers a feeling of floating above the city.

The pool will be on the tenth floor and join two buildings, meaning people can swim across from one luxury building to the other. Although if you're afraid of heights, you might want to give it a miss.

The Embassy Gardens pool will be constructed of 20cm acrylic on the sides with 30cm acrylic along the bottom and offers swimmers the chance to get a unique view of London.

The Sky Deck, where the pool will be situated, will also feature a spa, bar and orangery for residents to enjoy. It also boasts impressive views of London, including the Houses of Parliament, London Eye and new US Embassy.

New footage shows the almost-complete pool, and Embassy Gardens say it will be open and in use by next summer.

The pool will make swimmers 'feel like they're floating' according to developers.

The pool is currently in Colorado, where it set to undergo some final tests before it will be shipped over to London installed into the new buildings, which will include 2,000 apartments.

The fancy new apartments start at £600,000 ($730k) and go up to an eye-watering £5m ($6m) for the penthouse suite.

The pool will be 115 feet in the air.

The development, which is near the US Embassy in Nine Elms, offers a bunch of cutting-edge facilities and will hold events for residents including a private in-house cinema, gigs and pop-up parties.

Tan Sri Dato' Sri Liew Kee Sin, Executive Vice Chairman, EcoWorld International, said: "The construction of the Sky Pool has been a very exciting project, which EcoWorld Ballymore are delighted to be turning into a reality.

"The opening next year will be a huge milestone for the development, and for the Nine Elms area more generally, as the pool really will be a spectacle that locals and visitors to the area alike will want to see. It is a product of unique ambition, innovation, perseverance and imagination, we hope both residents and businesses in the area will be proud to have the Sky Pool on their doorsteps."

The pool is currently under construction in the US.

Sean Mulryan, Chairman and Group Chief Executive at Ballymore: "The vision for the Sky Pool stemmed from a desire to push the boundaries in the capability of construction and engineering, to do something that had never been done before.

"The Sky Pool's transparent structure is the result of significant advancements in technologies over the last decade. The experience of the pool will be truly unique, it will feel like floating through the air in central London"

Well, mission accomplished, guys.
