UNO All Wild Introduces New Cards To Classic Game

The variation on the family favourite promises to make the game 'more unpredictable' than ever

Attention UNO fans - a new variation of the classic game is now on shelves.

The new game is called UNO All Wild, and as you can probably gather, every card is wild in this edition.

The twist increases the pace and unpredictability of the game, according to manufacturer Mattel, and it features a whole new range of cards.

Uno All Wild, for the wild children among you.

Given that every card is wild, players don't have to worry about matching colours or numbers, but that doesn't necessarily make it as straightforward as it sounds.

The new cards in the game are: Wild Reverse, Wild Skip and Skip 2, Wild Forces Swap and Wild Targeted Draw 2.

As you can probably imagine, these new cards fundamentally alter the game.

The Wild Targeted Draw card means a player of your choice has to draw cards and lose their next turn, while the Wild Swap Hands card really is as wild as it sounds - if drawn, you must swap your entire hand with another play.

If you're a UNO purist, this game might sound barbaric, but if you fancy yourself as a bit of a wild child, it could be right up your street.

It's out now in the US.

A description of the game reads as follows: "In UNO All Wild card game, every single card is wild for a fast-paced, even more unpredictable version of this family favourite!

"There's no matching of number or colour like regular UNO, but it's not as easy as it sounds. Special Action Cards really change the game!

"There's a Wild Skip Two card where players skip two other players instead of the traditional one, a Wild Forced Swap card where players change entire hands and more!

"This edition is as addictive as it is exhilarating and makes a great gift for players 7 years and older."

If just the sound of it is making you feel exhilarated, then you may want to calm yourself down, as it is not available internationally just yet.

If you're in the US, you can pick it up from Target for $5.99 (£4.40).

LADbible has contacted Mattel to ask if and when it will be available internationally.
