Back to the Future star Crispin Glover has been accused of keeping a former girlfriend captive as a 'sex slave' in a new lawsuit.
According to the lawsuit obtained by Variety, the 61-year-old actor is accused of luring a 30-year-old woman to California under the pretence of providing her with a job before holding her 'captive' for 'sex and free labour'.
The claims against Glover have been made by 'Jane Doe', a British former model who alleges she was 'lured' to Los Angeles in order to work for the actor as his assistant.
The full civil complaint accused Glover of 'battery, fraud, wrongful eviction, malicious prosecution, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and bane act violations, stemming from a disturbing series of incidents in which Jane Doe was essentially held captive and used for sex and free labor by Mr. Glover under false pretenses'.

The Charlie's Angels actor has since responded by denying all the allegations in the 'strongest possible terms'.

What has Crispin Glover been accused of?
According to the lawsuit, Doe first crossed paths with Glover through social media in 2015, where she claimed he made a number of 'strange advances' and encouraged her to relocate to the US.
When the pair met in person in Dresden, Germany, in 2023, Glover allegedly showed her several items from a personal collection of 'Nazi memorabilia'.
The lawsuit goes on to claim that Glover 'groomed' Doe with promises of a 'career in the entertainment industry'. However, when she moved to Los Angeles in 2024, it's further claimed that Glover wanted to 'control her whereabouts' and 'basically serve him as a live-in girlfriend/sex slave'.
When she refused the 'bizarre and inappropriate demands', Doe claims that Glover took out a petition for a restraining order and had her evicted from her home. He is accused of locking Doe - a practising Muslim - out of his home after she went to pray at a local mosque.
The LA Times also notes allegations in the lawsuit which accuse Glover of 'choking Doe in a headlock', leaving her with a scar.
The actor is best known for his role as George McFly in Back to the Future (Universal)

What is Crispin Glover's response to the allegations?
A legal representative for Glover provided the following statement to Variety: "Mr. Glover denies these baseless allegations in the strongest possible terms.
"The reality is that on March 2, 2024, Mr. Glover was the victim of an unprovoked felony assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence. Mr. Glover called LAPD, which came to the scene, investigated, and arrested Jane Doe.
"These facts are documented by law enforcement records and by the restraining order filed by Mr. Glover against Jane Doe at that time.
"Mr. Glover intends to vigorously defend himself and pursue all available relief. He is confident the judicial process will expose this lawsuit as a meritless fabrication."
