Donald Trump was brutally mocked by his own son at Charlie Kirk's funeral as thousands gathered in Arizona to celebrate the life of the political activist.
The 31-year-old father was fatally shot on 10 September during a speaking event at Utah Valley University, and his death was confirmed by the president just a few hours later.
He wrote: "The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie.
"He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!"

Thousands of people showed up at the State Farm Stadium today, with many more likely turned away because of the strict rules that were imposed, to pay tribute to Kirk.
After several musical performances, we heard speeches from the likes of JD Vance, Robert F Kennedy Jr and eventually Donald Trump Jr.

He put on his father's signature accent and said: "You know, Don, you're getting a little aggressive on social media. Don, relax!"
The camera then panned to the POTUS, who could be seen laughing before giving his son a thumbs-up.

Trump Jr. also said that Kirk 'embodied something at the very core of our movement', and that they don't 'silence' people who 'disagree with', but rather they 'stand tall and we win with our ideas'.
Earlier this week, the President revealed the final conversation he had with Kirk before his death, with the Turning Point USA founder a key player in helping the 79-year-old return to the Oval Office.

"So the last time I spoke to him, he said 'Sir,' then he goes 'Phoenix,'" Trump said. "'Sir could you, er, get to Phoenix,' this was like in a day. I said, 'Charlie, I'm the President of the United States, you've called me, asking me if I could speak tomorrow in Phoenix? You can't do that to me, Charlie.'
"But I usually ended up going," Trump recalled with a laugh. "He was great. He was a great guy and he didn't deserve this. He didn't deserve this, believe me."
Vice President JD Vance followed Trump Jr before the podcaster's widow, Erika Kirk, gave an emotional speech, where she spoke about losing her husband, their marriage, and how she felt when she witnessed his deceased body in the hospital.
