Interabled couple Squirmy and Grubs announce they're expecting first child
Congratulations are in order for soon-to-be parents Shane and Hannah Burcaw.
Better known as Squirmy and Grubs to their social media fanbase, the interabled pair from Minnesota - Shane has spinal muscular atrophy and uses a wheelchair - made a special baby announcement via Instagram yesterday (8 September).
Accompanied by three sweet pictures, including one of their dog lay next to scans and 'Mom' and 'Dad' caps, it began: "We are beyond ecstatic to announce that we're expecting our first child this coming January!
"Hannah is 20 weeks pregnant, and although we've been thoroughly enjoying this special time in privacy so far, we've also missed sharing all the joy with you, and there's SO MUCH to share!

They also urged fans to go and seek out their brand-new vlog upload, featuring 'way more details about the pregnancy' and 'what lies ahead' for them.
Next came a set of bullet points highlighting 'the most important stuff in a nutshell'.
"1 - We're doing great and cannot wait to begin sharing our pregnancy journey with you starting... right now!" they wrote.
"2 - Shane is launching a brand new baby blog today because we want to be thoughtful and intentional about what and how we share our child with the world. See the BABY BLOG link in our bios for that! First post is live!
"3 - We wanted to use this moment for good, so we're joining the #BabylistItForward movement to fulfil registry items for people in celebration! If you or a loved one has a Babylist registry, share it and we will be popping in to fill as many as we can!
"4 - After going through IVF unsuccessfully for many years, we understand all too well the difficulties that many people experience when trying to conceive, and how seeing announcements can feel. Our hearts go out to you."
The excited Burcaws then signed off 'with love' as rafts of followers streamed into the comment section.
One standout respondent was the award-winning actress Rhea Seehorn - showing just how far the couple's material must travel.
Famed for her roles in Better Call Saul and Pluribus, the 54-year-old commented: "CONGRATS!!!!!"
"You'll be the best parents! So excited!!!!" read another message.
A third person shared: "Congratulations! Welcome to the disabled parents club [tongue-out emoji] this kid will be getting free rides (and a lap to climb up) for life."
A fourth added: "I have never been more excited for 2 people I don't know personally in my entire damn life!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!"
