Nanny Cam Films Toddler Swinging From Chandelier
A nanny cam caught the moment a cheeky toddler started swinging from the chandelier while her mum thought she was sleeping soundly during nap time.
The clip, filmed in Edgewater, Maryland, shows three-year-old Elsie climbing up onto the bed frame before grabbing hold of the ceiling light and swinging around, while her twin sister watches on.
The youngster swings back and forth and spins herself around before eventually jumping down onto the bed. She then makes another attempt to climb up and grab a hold of the chandelier before appearing to give up and wandering over to play with her sister.
After seeing the clip, Elsie's mum made the decision to remove the chandelier, probably for the best given the antics of this budding daredevil.
The twins' mum uploaded the short clip to TikTok, writing: "After converting my twins' cribs to 'big girl beds', I quickly realised it was a mistake.
"I could hear a noise coming from the girls' nursery during their nap time so I pulled up my Arlo Security app and realised one of my twins, Elise, was swinging from the chandelier.

"Thankfully she wasn't hurt but the chandelier was immediately removed. This is just one of many reasons why I can't have nice things anymore.
"My girls still ask for their chandelier but I'd be willing to bet their reason isn't for utility."
Last year, a shocking video showing a toddler launching himself from the top bunk of his bed and landing on a mattress below while his parents filmed a TikTok video, completely oblivious to what was happening behind them.
The parents were filming a clip in which the mum would jump into the dad's arms - so far, so cute, except that their three-year-old saw his mum's leap and seemed to want to give it a go himself.
The video shows the little fella chucking himself off the bed and landing face-first on a mattress.
Thankfully, he appears to be completely unharmed by the experience and can be seen smiling after he gets up.
