Man Freaks Out After He Notices Face In Washing Machine Staring At Him

A man 'nearly had a heart attack' when he noticed a face looking at him from his washing machine door.

The Twitter user, who goes by the name Alex, spotted the creepy-looking face staring at him through the glass after he'd put a wash on, and shared the photo with his followers.

He wrote: "Forgot I'd washed the dog's blanket and David Bowie cushion. Nearly just had a heart attack."

Well, there we go - thankfully, he hadn't actually trapped another person in his washer, it was just David Bowie looking back at him.

Inevitably, people loved the hilarious snap.

One social media user said: "Pretty sure Bowie would've loved this, probably used it on an album cover..."

Another joked: "Put on a hot wash, and dance the blues."

A third person wrote: "If this is Bowie, why is my brain seeing Bryan Cranston? That's all I can see tbh."

Well, whether it reminds you more of Ziggy Stardust or Walter White, at least it's just a cushion.

From one nightmare picture to another, Alex isn't the only person to have fallen victim to a sneaky optical illusion recently.

The unfortunate placement of a stranger's arm in a woman's photo made her sunny beach snap look a lot more X-rated than it actually is.

TikTok user Madi Marotta (@madimarotta) posted a video last month about the time she'd tried to take a 'cute pic' on South Beach in Miami, having posed in the sunshine in a yellow bikini top and white bottoms.

Sharing a clip of herself looking pretty unimpressed, Marotta wrote: "I tried to take a cute pic on South Beach and this lady's arm makes me look like my peen is hanging out. Enjoy."

The video then cuts to the image in question, showing Marotta standing on the beach.

At first, it doesn't seem like there's anything wrong, but on closer inspection we see there's something unusual about her silhouette.

As Marotta was posing, she had no idea that a woman was standing behind her would create an inappropriate illusion - basically, her arm poking out of Marotta's crotch area looked like a penis.

Other users have dubbed the clip the 'best TikTok' they've seen, with many saying they laughed out loud when the big reveal came.

One commented: "I WASN'T EXPECTING IT TO BE THAT BAD."

Someone else wrote: "I'm so sorry, I laughed harder than expected."

A third said: "GIRL IDK WHAT I EXPECTED BUT IT WASN'T THAT PLSSS."
