Police in Los Angeles have confiscated around £500,000 worth of counterfeit make-up that was found to contain traces of dangerous bacteria, animal faeces, and - most worryingly - human urine and faeces.
Yes, if you've bought any of the hooky make-up from a shop in LA's fashion district, you could have been literally wiping shite on your own face.
I mean, we all like a good deal and cosmetic products are massively expensive, but this is a pretty convincing argument for paying the full price to get the real deal.
Twenty-one shops were raided and a huge amount of dodgy goods were confiscated.
On Friday, LA Police Captain Marc Reina tweeted:
Busted! Major Task Force hits 21 locations in the @LAFashionDist and nets $700,000 in Counterfeit cosmetics found to contain bacteria and human waste. The best price is not always the best deal! #ProtectingOurCommunity pic.twitter.com/gliJ8L2F9F

Of the stuff that was taken, brands like MAC, Urban Decay, and Kylie Jenner's range of cosmetics - Kylie Cosmetics - were all being faked in the shops and sold at massively discounted prices.
That said, if you're wiping human shit on your face, the cost is probably a little too high whichever way you look at it.
At this point you're probably wondering how so much crap ended up in the products.
Well, LAPD Detective Rick Ishitani told local news channel KABC: "Those faeces will just basically somehow get mixed into the product they're manufacturing in their garage or in their bathroom - wherever they're manufacturing this stuff.
"If you're getting something that's 50 percent off, 75 percent off, it tells you that it's bad."
During the course of the raids 6 owners of establishments carrying the dodgy goods were arrested. Other shops got off slightly lighter, but still received cease and desist orders.
Those arrested will likely be charged with trademark violations of major brands.
After fake versions of her sister's cosmetics were found and seized, Kim Kardashian-West tweeted: "Counterfeit Kylie lip kits seized in LAPD raid test positive for feces. SO GROSS! Never buy counterfeit products!"

In advance of the raids, the police had been tipped off by some of the brands whose products were being faked by the counterfeiters.
People had been getting in touch with the brands to say that they had experienced rashes and bumps after using some of the make-up kits. All of those who complained said that they had bought their products in the LA fashion district.
A lot of the products were very convincingly packaged, but at a hugely reduced price and - crucially - contaminated with human poo and wee.
