There has been a horrifying update in the case which saw the son of a Ukrainian 'kingpin' brutally murdered while on holiday in Bali.
Igor Komarov was travelling with his influencer girlfriend Yesa Mishalova in the holiday hotspot back in February to celebrate Valentine's Day but he would disappear a day later, and it seems as if his partner may have inadvertently played a part in his death.
After vanishing, a video of Komarov was released on Telegram, in which he describes the horrific torture he had been subject to from his kidnappers, who were demanding an eye-watering $10 million sum from Komarov's parents in exchange for his life.

In the horrifying video, the emotional victim begged for help, saying: "They already chopped off some of my limbs, I have broken legs and punched ribcage. I'm already on meds, I already have no limbs.
"Mummy, Daddy, I beg you, help me please, you stole those ten million, which they ask for, return these ten million please.
"An infection will start soon. I'm just dying... I ask you very much, this is a very serious organisation, please help me, no one can find me, neither mafiosos, no one.
"Bring me home, what[ever] is left of me at the moment, please settle with these people, they need ten million dollars, which we stole.
"As soon as these ten million are received in their accounts, they will immediately let me go to the place where they took me."
Sadly, it wasn't long after the video was released that body parts later identified as belonging to the 28-year-old were discovered on a beach, and now it is suspected that his girlfriend's regular Instagram updates were what led the kidnappers to his exact whereabouts.

That's according to the true-crime channel Lazy Masquerade who suggest that they could find his geo-location thanks to the stream of social media activity on Yeva's part.
The video narrator said: "She updated her fans on her daily activities with Igor, posting photos and videos in real time with captions and geotags. That meant that anyone keeping an eye on the couple knew exactly where they were."
It is unclear where she was when the Ukrainian was first abducted, with reports suggesting that he was taken as he rode a motorbike alongside friends on the Indonesian island, with another one of his friends also reportedly taken by the armed assailants before being released after a ransom was met.
Police previously suggested that they are hunting six suspects - identified only as RM, BK, AS, VN, SM, and DH. Cops believe four have them may have already fled the country.
