Woman becomes only passenger on flight and is treated like VIP

Hannah Maden-Adams was flying back from Ibiza on a $AUD 362 flight to find that she was all alone.

A woman experienced VIP treatment after finding herself the only passenger on a commercial flight.

Mirror reported that Hannah Maden-Adams was flying back from Ibiza on a $AUD 362 (£188) flight to find that she was all by her lonesome.

Honestly, I’ve dreamed of this. Heaps of legroom, fully reclined seat, no queue to the bathroom - sign me up!

The 38 year old was returning from a birthday trip with friends, which was the perfect way to cap off the celebratory weekend.

The passenger was chauffeured from the boarding gate to the plane in a car and even got some top holiday tips from the pilots while in the air.

The whole premium service.

"It sounds cheesy because I'm just a normal person, but it felt really exciting being taken in a car to the aircraft and then being the only person to board. It was very surreal, but it was just fun as well - how often does something like that happen,” Maden-Adams said.

"Normally flights are absolutely packed, you've got kids, families, groups of people all talking and laughing. Instead, they said sit where you like and put your luggage where you like.

"I went for a window seat - I decided to sit up near the front as I like to see the view."

When the woman initially arrived at the airport, staff said no flights were going from Ibiza to Jersey.

But despite the confusion, she still managed to check in.

However, when she arrived at her gate, the birthday girl began to wonder where the other passengers were.

It wasn’t until the gate opened that a member of staff informed her she was the only one onboard.

In true VIP fashion, a private car collected her to the gate and drove her to the plane, where she received five-star service from the crew, who were equally surprised she was the only one boarding.

She said: "When we were in the air the pilots were so kind, I thought it was a really nice personal touch, the pilots were pointing out various locations and recommend destinations for holidays."

She added: "It was really fun, the air stewardesses chatted the whole way, it was great to get to know them find out about their lives. But they were very professional still, they did all the flight safety instructions and all the announcements."
