Floyd Mayweather has been accused of missing shots on purpose during his fight against Deji Olatunji on Sunday.

The former professional boxer - who has a record of 50-0 - went head to head with YouTuber Deji - whose real name is Oladeji Olatunji - in what is a highly anticipated exhibition match for the Global Titans Fight Night in Dubai.

Mayweather danced his way around the ring but stopped his opponent in round six. Although the Michigan-born athlete appeared to treat the fight as a joke, the British internet star met his match when he was backed into a corner.

The fight kicked off at around 1am local time in Dubai and was more chaotic than normal.

Deji had only fought YouTubers before and after winning his first fight back in August, he decided to face one the sport’s greatest.

But the fight didn't go down all too well with fans, with many accusing Mayweather of missing shots on purpose.

“Nah he’s taking the p*ss,” one disgruntled Twitter spectator said as another disappointed viewer shared: “Why is he just standing there eating his punches.

"Why doesn't he move out of the way and give himself room? He has 0 footwork. I am disappointed at Deji. He forgot the basics of boxing in the ring. Also disappointed in his shape. He needs to workout more.”

A third person wrote: “This is why these stupid exhibition fights are boring…”

While a fourth added: “Whole sport is a shambles”

Another Twitter fan compared the match to wrestling, writing: “Boxing is a show nowadays!! Like WWF”.

Earlier in the evening, Tommy Fury fought Rolly Lambert Fogum, in what was a last-minute change from his original opponent, Paul Bamba.

Bamba called off his match just hours before the fight was due to take place because Fury was deemed to be overweight in the weigh-in.

Tommy's rival, Jake Paul, was ringside commentating throughout the match and spent the whole time throw shade about Fury.

The former Love Island contestant shouter: "Forget my son, I'm the king of the bareknuckle."

Ex-Disney Channel star Paul retorted: "Nobody likes you, you're embarrassing. You're a fat, miserable, old man."

Not long after the odd scenes, Tommy called out 'b*tch' Paul and demanded him to make his way into the ring.
