The 'Iranian Hulk' was once challenged by his strongman rival 'Brazilian Incredible Hulk' to a mega 480lb boxing match.
Coming in at six feet two inches tall and weighing 390lb, the 'Iranian Hulk' – real named Sajad Gharibi – is currently preparing for his boxing clash with Martyn Ford at The O2 arena in London on April 30.
However, in 2019, the Iranian star was once challenged by the Brazilian Hulk – real named Romario do Santos – who weighs considerably less at 230lbs and is quite a bit shorter at five feet eight inches.
He previously said: "I will go up to 120 kilograms (18.9 stone) and I send a message to you, the Iranian Hulk who is challenging me: I will go up to 120 kilograms and you will go down to 120. I will tear off your head."
Alves rose to fame in Brazil in 2019, and according to The Mirror, he was close to losing his arm in 2013 because of synthol oil injections, which basically nearly lead to an amputation due to the severe reaction.
Despite the difficulties, Alves is still believed to be actively training.
Although the fight might not be happening anytime soon, the Iranian Hulk was definitely up for it at the time.
He said: "Be brave and invite me to fight instead of hiding behind your sponsors.
"I am ready to fight you, show me what you've got to say in the ring."
Unfortunately, due to his upcoming fight with Ford and a considerable height and weight difference, we might be waiting a while for anything substantial to come up.
Last month (February 25) a brawl broke out between Martyn Ford and his upcoming opponent, where the 'world's scariest man' sent the Iranian Hulk flying down onto the floor.
Ford and Gharibi were in Dubai at the time, where they had their first chance at a face-to-face stare down.
In the footage, the two men can be seen getting close to each other before Ford pushes Gharibi, sending him sprawling backwards.
In another clip, Gharibi charges towards Ford – who is significantly taller than him – and attempts to push him to the ground, but is unsuccessful and ends up tumbling to his knees.
Ford has previously had to reassure fans that is a ‘real fight’.
He told Mirror Fighting: "I was embarrassed, genuinely embarrassed.
"People ask me if this is a real fight or if this is some kind of WWE fight. And yes of course it is 100 percent this is going off."
