Grand National delayed by protestors storming track as police take action

The annual race has been delayed by protestors, with three arrests earlier today at the Grand National.

The Grand National has been delayed after several protesters broke onto the course.

The activists, who were wearing Animal Rising t-shirts, were seen attempting to scale the perimeter fence, with some making it onto the racetrack

Several activists were led away by police, with some appearing to attempt to glue themselves to the fence.

In light of this, the race has been delayed indefinitely and the horses have been held in their paddocks as police deal with the ongoing incident.

He said: "They’re attention -seekers and we’re giving them attention. Most of them have never even been in a stable."
