Pensioner, 75, And Grandson 18, Take On Female In Two-On-One MMA Fight

Pensioner, 75, And Grandson 18, Take On Female In Two-On-One MMA Fight

The bizarre fight took place as part of Russia's Epic Fighting Championship

Russia’s Epic Fighting Championship saw a 75-year-old pensioner and his 18-year-old grandson battle it out against a 28-year-old woman in a shocking fight that took place yesterday (8 February). Check out the footage below:

Yulia Mishko, also known as ‘the Tomboy’, squared up against the unusual pairing of Big Igibob and his grandad Vladimir Spartak.

Spartak, who claims to have fought in the Vietnam war, and his grandson made their fighting debut during this match, as neither had any prior professional fighting experience.

It lasted the full three-round distance, with each round taking three minutes, and seemed to follow MMA rules, as the trio notably wore MMA gloves and the referee allowed ground-and-pound.

Much to the shock of those watching, Spartak took most of the risks during the early stages of the contest, with his grandson seemingly shying away from much of the confrontation.

He even appeared to slip while running away from a Mishko challenge at one point, after which his grandfather took the brunt of her force.

During the second round, Mishko seemed to come into her own, as she sent Spartak spiralling towards the canvas, and then Igibob to the floor where she attempted some ground-and-pound before Spartak came back.

Throughout the fight, it appeared the 75-year-old faced the most damage, despite Mishko facing two competitors.

MMA fans noticed that the female fighter was left rather unscathed across the duration of the contest.

Even one of her coaches could be seen holding in her giggles between rounds, as the other coach attempted to offer some advice.

Much to the shock of those watching, the fight was scored a draw, despite the two men inflicting almost no damage between them and being dropped a collective three times by clean shots.

In a post-match interview, Spartak admitted that by round three he had given up on winning, and was simply in it to show his good spirit, the Mirror reports.

Igibob even claimed their contest was one of the best in the Epic Fighting Championship's history, as he vowed to fight again alongside his grandfather in a further post-fight interview.

Overall, the fight was an outrageous example of the Epic Fighting Championships, which are known for putting on some controversial contests.

Just last month, a fan jumped into an MMA cage and attempted to stop the bizarre mixed-gender encounter between female model Sasha Mamaha and male pornstar Alexnader Pistoletov.
