NYC Subway Passenger Lets Adorable Little Boy Play On His Phone

A video has emerged showing an NYC subway rider handing over his phone to a little boy so he can play games, and it's probably the most heart-warming thing on the Internet right now:

What with poachers stealing turtles from their homes, doggos being abandoned by their owners, and people throwing bizarre pony painting parties (seriously?), it can be hard to think of this world as anything but a flaming pile of rubbish.

However, occasionally something like this happens that makes us realise that there is hope for humanity after all.

It's not the biggest gesture in the world, but it is a heartwarming moment that shows what a significant difference a small act of kindness can make.

You all remember what is was like on long journeys as a kid, right? They were boring AF and unless you had a Gameboy or something else to keep that brain engaged for a couple of hours, chances are you were going stir crazy.

The kid is this video is so enamoured by the guy's phone as he taps away, seemingly unaware of his surroundings.

However, as soon as the man spots the boy peeking over his shoulder, he gives a knowing smile before passing it along so the youngster can play games.

After he's handed over the phone, the kid is enthralled and the dude continues to sit and tune in every now and then to watch the boy's gaming skills. His awkwardness only adds to the entire exchange - it's by far the sweetest thing you'll watch all day.

The heartwarming exchange was captured on camera by fellow passenger Kia Tatiyana Davis, who happened to be sitting in the right place at the right time to see it. Luckily, she captured the exact moment the pair bonded over their love of technology. It's a beautiful thing.

Davis went on to post the footage on her social media account and before she knew it, the video had racked up over 700,000 views and counting.

That's 700,000 people who have no doubt been touched by this minor yet significant moment that shows the world ain't such a bad place after all.
