An adorable pooch appeared to try and charm his way out of a telling off after he took a poop on his owner's carpet.
Kellie Rossi Larsen, who lives in Logan, Utah, caught Nova's attempt at a toothy grin on camera after she found out he had taken a dump on her light-coloured carpet.

In the funny clip Kellie can be heard saying: "Nova, what is this? What is this? Was this you? Did you poop in the house?" As a very guilty-looking Nova attempts to slink away from the scene of the crime.
The cute dog then sits down and begins to show off all his teeth in what looks to be a wide smile. Who could possibly stay mad at that face, eh?
Speaking to Viral Hog, Kellie explained: "We recently moved into a new house, and one of our three dogs, Nova, had a little accident in the house because everything is new and confusing.
"When Nova thinks he's in trouble he does that cheesy smile to try and get out of it."

Although Nova's all-natural grin is pretty special, it's really no match jackapoo Milo's smile after he nicked a set of false teeth.
Looking like he'd just taken a recent trip to Turkey for a set of veneers, Milo the pooch left his owner in hysterics after he managed to get his paws on the false teeth belonging to his owner's mum.
His owner first realised the dog might be up to no good when he suddenly went very quiet, before he appeared with a brand new smile.
Owner Stacie Owen's said: "I wondered why he went quiet and found him in the bedroom with my mum's old dentures.

"He likes to hold things in his mouth, he feels very proud when he has something. Whenever we go on a walk he will always bring something home."
