As Australia collectively begins a week of work after a big long weekend, the national morale could understandably be a bit low.
Some might be nursing hangovers, be that alcohol related or money related, and we all need a bit of a pick-me-up.
Well, we're here to provide that sliver of entertainment that hopefully will put a smile on your face and that comes in the form of one animal riding an unlikely other animal.
A baby koala was captured riding on the back of a miniature Schnauzer called Tony in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia.

The lost and confused joey grabbed on tight to the similarly confused dog and wouldn't let go.
Clearly the baby koala was in need of some maternal guidance and in its eyes Tony was the best replacement to its actual mum.
Let's hope mum was off scavenging for some eucalyptus leaves and nothing more sinister happened because we don't reckon we could handle that sort of information on this dreary Tuesday.

Tony's owner Henry told 7News.com.au that koalas are pretty common in his area but never in his life has he seen them interact with other wildlife like this.
While the initial coupling appears cute, it doesn't seem like Tony is a big fan of his furry new companion and tries to shake him off to no avail.
They don't look like they're going to be the best of friends for years to come like the Fox and the Hound but we can all collectively bask in this two-minute friendship for years to come.
