Bikers Change The Lives Of Child Abuse Victims

Amazing.

For anybody who has suffered abuse, the most important thing in life is having people there to support you.

This girl, referred to as 'FA', was abused by her stepfather as a child. Understandably, the actions from someone brought into her family had a lasting effect on her. Luckily, she found help from what many people would call an unlikely group.

BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse) are a group of bikers who dedicate their lives to helping people who have suffered from child abuse, and help empower those who have been victimised.

'FA' had reached a point in her life where she'd shower wearing clothes, had stopped eating, would obsess over doors and windows being shut tight, and was generally not being herself.

At the age of 12 she'd told her mother of the abuse and they pressed charges. However, they feared for their safety as they waited three years for the trial.

Then came BACA, who protected her and nurtured her back to reality; to help her no longer be afraid of the world she lives in.

BACA escorted 'FA' to and from school, therapy and court dates and made her feel safe, even if it meant standing outside her house 24/7.

They changed her life. Awesome stuff!
