He decided to get his own back in the best way possible after she called him 'boring'

A football commentator decided to get his own back on his girlfriend after she gave him a bit of drunken 'grief' by hilariously documenting and commentating her hangover the day after - and he absolutely smashes it.

As you can see in the video, Toby Osborne, 26 has been missing his job as match day commentator for Bristol City FC, and decided to put his skills to some use while most sport has been halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He did so by following his girlfriend Kayleigh, 27, around their flat while she tried to shake off a particularly heavy hangover - all as a bit of light-hearted revenge.

It all began the night before, when on a Zoom quiz with Kayleigh's family, she had a bit of a jibe at him for not drinking and called him 'boring' - it's very fair to say, Toby has had the last laugh with that one.

Speaking to LADbible, Toby said: "I usually commentate on all of Bristol City's games through the season so I've been a bit lost without sport, but have been finding other ways to commentate as you can see.

"She was giving me plenty of abuse for not drinking - and then we had the performance of getting her into bed and then she was ill all the next day."

Kayleigh was NOT in a good way.

Kayleigh Cooper, a Regional Account Manager at Sky Media in Bristol, added very honestly: "My side of the story is a little hazy after a bottle of red wine and some G&T, but Toby didn't fancy the hangover next day and so I called him out for being boring in the Zoom pub quiz we were doing!"

In the video, we see Toby document all of the following day's events, commentating on Kayleigh's ups and downs - it's fair to say it was a bit of a rollercoaster for the poor girl.

As if a red wine and gin hangover isn't bad enough, Kayleigh was definitely put through her paces by Toby's commentary.

She said: "I did see the funny side... in the end. But it did not help being followed around all day by Toby and his phone, who might I add was still fuming with me at this point..."

Toby thinks it was a bit of a coping mechanism for being called out in front of her family on Zoom - a situation which I'm led to believe has become a bit of a common occurrence during lockdown.

He added: "I think it was a good way of me getting over it in a constructive way."

Toby and Kayleigh have been together for two years.

Other than making each other's hangovers a million times worse, the pair have been doing the usual through lockdown - both of them said it's involved a lot of Netflix, doing home workouts, people watching from their balcony, more than enough remote quizzes and eating and drinking too much.

When asked if she had any lockdown relationship tips, Kayleigh replied: "None. But if you've got any tips feel free to share!"

She added: "I get some peace and quiet when I leave him at home to do the food shop though."

God bless those essential food shopping trips.
