Adelaide Council Hoping To Erect This Totally Non-Phallic Looking Skate Park

The council copped a load of comments about the interesting bird's eye view.

As we age, we gain insight and information, allowing us to become functioning members of society that are mature and helpful.

Some people grow out of sex jokes they made at high school and save their punchlines for witty remarks made over wine at dinner parties.

Then there are other people who, at any age, get a kick out of something silly.

These people will appreciate the rather interesting design that has been proposed for a skate park in a council in South Australia.

Tea Tree Gully council uploaded a bird's eye shot of what they were thinking for the Bentley Reserve skate park redesign.

For the mature adult, they'd see a decent looking proposal that could provide fun for people of all ages. The silly ones would notice that it looks a hell of a lot like a penis.

The council posted the photo hoping to get feedback on what people thought of the design, which was quickly flooded with people making dick jokes.

It had to take down the post and upload something a little less NSFW and opted for a shot of what it would look for someone on the ground.

The council wrote: "In response to feedback, we've changed the photo to one that more accurately reflects what people might expect to see from ground level.

"We would hate to set up false expectations - too much pressure for a skate park.

"We thank the clever people of our community for their 'helpful suggestions'."

The redesign is hoped to be completed either next year or in 2021.
