Zack Snyder granted a fan's dying wish to watch the highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film before its release.

A Facebook page named 'Batman4bazz' was set up for terminally ill superfan, Barry Henderson, in an attempt to grab the attention of producers. Incredibly, they noticed and the film's director stepped in to help make it happen.

Its been 4 weeks since you went to sleep. We miss and think about you every day...I couldn't fix you but I could help...

Barry was diagnosed with cancer in October 2014 and was given just 11 months to live.

Being such a huge Batman fan, he was determined to live long enough to see the Caped Crusader take on Superman.

Thanks to determination of his friends and the film's producers going the extra mile, his dying wish became a reality.

RIP Barry.

Batman V Superman will be released across the world on Friday March 26.
