Oporto Is Giving Away Free Bondi Burgers This Week

The fast food game in Australia is pretty hectic.

You've got McDonald's, Hungry Jack's, KFC, Subway, Oporto, Pizza Hut, Domino's, Red Rooster...the list goes on.

They all offer something different and they all have to compete with the tastebuds of people across the country.

That's why it's not uncommon for them to offer up a cheeky deal that gets people through their doors.

Oporto has done just that by offering people free double Bondi burgers this week.

Oporto head of marketing Samantha Bragg told news.com.au: "With the rise of meal prep and pre-packaged food, too many Aussies are victim to bland and boring desk lunches.

"Today we are shouting our flavourful Double Bondi Burger so they can enjoy something delicious on their lunch break."

Now, you're probably going to say that there's no such thing as a free meal and, yes, you do have to do something to get the burger in between your lips.

All you have to do is slide into Oporto's DMs with a picture of your lame looking lunch and they'll give you a coupon to get a free burger. After that, you just need to download their app and send your member email and Bob's your uncle.

To be fair, as far as promotional deals go, that's not much effort on your part.

The deal will be running until Friday night and the chicken chain is expecting to be shelling out a whopping 100,000 burgers in that time.
